Our campsite is located in the middle of a wonderful natural refuge. Right by the Upper Grumbach Pond, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the foot of the Bocksberg.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest lake, surrounded by dense forests. Listen to the silence, the wind and the birds. Feel the light breeze that usually blows in the Harz even on warm summer days. Be amazed in the evening when the sun sets behind the trees and its light is reflected in the lake. Smell the scent of the forest.
Or actively experience the Harz. Our site is the ideal place for connoisseurs, active hikers and mountain bikers. The hiking trails start right outside the door and lead into a hundreds of kilometers long network of trails through the entire Upper Harz. Countless excursion destinations invite you to discover and marvel. The summer toboggan run and the mountain bike downhill route on the Bocksberg are right "on the doorstep". And in winter, the Bocksberg ski area is right on your doorstep, a toboggan run is a 10-minute walk away, and cross-country ski trails start in Hahnenklee.
